The Bangor Daily News Library, which ceased operated in October 2011, assisted the BDN newsroom in their research.
There were three librarians over the history of the library: Ruth Perry, Elizabeth Webb, and Charlie Campo. Full-time assistants included Trudy Andrews, Arlene Boyle, Melissa Burns, Patricia Dresser, Nguyen Dinh Loc, Jill Marston, and Dick Shaw. Part-time assistants included Liza Grimm, Diane Hudson, Mary Ann Saxl, Lynn Tukey and Karen Ward.
